Bread has always accompanied the man.

Fire, air, water and earth, the four elements join to create the food par excellence. With the man since always, bread is part of every Mediterranean civilization.

Main food for entire generations, it was abandoned by the new culture of diets, but today returns to being protagonist of the table.

Italy has many museums devoted to bread and its production and every region has special recipes and food itineraries to discover them.

A famous one is in Puglia in the area of Gargano National Park. Here you can taste the known Pane di Altamura, the bread of Monte Sant’Angelo, San Marco and Mattinata.

Each one has special ingredients and a different type of cooking.
