The "Sentiero del Viandante" Trail - green and blu along Lake Como

The Sentiero del Viandante - Wanderer’s Trail is an old mule track dating back to Roman times which runs along the eastern shore of Lake Como from Lecco to Abbadia Lariana and then to Colico.

It passes through small clusters of houses, old mills, castles, churches and chapels among woods and terraces cultivated with vineyards and olive trees.

It can be walked in stages following the orange signposts and it is ideal for mountain bike lovers as well. The itinerary follows  the railway Lecco-Sondrio with the possibility to go back by train to the starting point.
