It is a leisurely and pleasant walk of about 10 km that leads from Colonno to Cadenabbia following traces of the “ Antica Via Regina”, an antique connection road.
To enjoy the beautiful landscape of Lake Como you must not be in a hurry, because every corner invites you to slow down and take a picture between the blue of the lake and the green of the mountains.
The Greenway starts at Colonno and ascends slowly crossing the historic villages with cobbled streets, ancient churches, and small stone bridges.
The last part of the itinerary is along the shore of the lake, where the noble families of Europe wanted to build their elegant villas and gardens which today still represent the beauty of Lake Como “ A World within a World “
