AMAZING GREEN MILANO: MONUMENTAL TREES, VERTICAL WOOD AND THE BIBLIOTECA DEGLI ALBERI PARK

Milan is a metropolis always able to surprise and delight.

In Italy there are more than 2.400 monumental trees, included in the official list for their biologic, historic and cultural importance.

Some of the most impressive are in Milan, in the public gardens, along the avenues and in the city districts: Parco Sempione, Villa Litta, Villa Belgioioso, piazza XXIV Maggio, just to mention few of them.

But the green soul of Milan is much more.

The two vertical forest buidings, made up of more than 2000 trees designed by the Boeri studio in centre of Milan are considered among the most iconic buildings of the world and at their foot the Biblioteca degli Alberi Park is an example of contemporary urban park with open air rooms made of trees and colored irregular fields full of wild flowers.
